Went to Singapore Polytechnic today
for sports day.
And hooi hooi,

AGAIN!

though i did not do anything,
but all for one and one for all.

I am so glad.
My brother brought a little kitten back.
We named it Kiwi-to Nyoko (something like that).
It looks so adorable,
especially when it's sleeping.

Well, because of Kiwi-to,
i think we've neglected Kiwi.
Kiwi-to is grabbing too much attention,
and therefore, i would like to focus more on,
Kiwi instead.
But, Kiwi has been feeling rather bad,

and
i don't know how to help her.

I love the both of them.
But, i don't want to make Kiwi feel left out.
After all, she was bad when i was sad.

Mr Wong: "Ah...Ah...is the people don't do well in school, no exams, no certificates, then cannot apply for a job or good job. So, with no choice, they end up here wan."

Ms Chong: "The no good people no use. No use then come here la. If not what? Go for CEO, COO ah? No right. So they are here."

According to the inerviews we had, the conclusion is that the non-graduates work in coffee shops because they cannot apply for a better job.

Interview with Ms Ong Hwee Yan
Ms Ong: "Orh, these drunkards i see a lot already! No problem wan la! When they get drunk, we...we...Huh, when it comes to these kinds of situations, you can only wait for the family members to come, cos we cannot do anything ma, you see..."

Interview with Mr Yue Heng Wei
Mr Yue: "Drunkards drink because of love partners, money or retrenchment, one of these. And when they get drunk, they impose trouble on us. But, we don't do anything. We wait until they leave. Business what, who don't want to do? That's why...yeah."

Interview with Ms Ang Yin Kee
Ms Ang: "I cannot say anything. Because i don't handle drunkards. But, i can only say drunkards are useless. Small thing also drunk. I can hold my liquor well wan. Next time, got time, i show you."

After the interviews with these 4 parties, there was only very vague conclusion. But, they get drunk because they are troubled over love, money and job and those people cannot hold their liquor well.

Now i am starting to miss th Malacca trip.

I don't understand what was so funny that night in Malacca
that kept weiting laughing until the next day (y'day).

When Sherry, weiting and i entered the hotel room,
sherry turned all our shoes upside down (as in one of each pair)
I had a little idea why she did that
but wanted to find out more.
So i asked.
THen she replied
"We are at towards the end of this floor, so..."
could tell she didn't want to talk about it.
Anyway, i was starting to freak out,
so i kept screaming
and that got weiting scared too.
I kept insisting that we change the room
so Sherry called Mr Bambang.
Oh!!
And he really came...
Sherry and he were talking.
And he said, "Ok, ask her to come out."
Cos he said guys cannot go into girls' room and vice versa.
But, i was refusing.
Upon hearing me say no no no,
he spoke some more and agreed to let us go to kaiying's room there.
In the end,
we decided not to go.
cos we, or rather i, were getting
braver.

This was that night.

Hey,
I am at my aunty's house right now. Lost touch with all the msn and yahoo for a long time and just logged in today. Yeh! It did...work. Anyway, what is there to talk about? Malacca? Yeah, i am going there on the 16th of this month...and I'M NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT!!
I don't feel like leaving Singapore at this point of time and i heard that Malacca is an old town. I don't like old towns, i prefer urbans like Singapore, where life is too hectic to catch up with. But, it's too late to back out now. I've handed in the form and have agreed to go. If i want out now, all hells will break loose. My teacher's going to freak out. So, i decided to take it in my stride. Just go and have a look. Anyway, it's just for one night. That was Malacca.

Hey,
Here to talk things again. But, of course, this is my blog. Recently, don't know why, i haven't really been in the best of mood. Maybe things are starting to get boring already.
For today's post, i will divide it into these sections for easier reference about the day and my life recently. Where's your thanks? Okay, this is it.

SCHOOL. But, i still felt happy for Literature today. I passed. I got 19.5/25 (78/100) I did well, that's what i think. Keep your negative (and positive comments) to yourself. Don't wish to hear them...yet! Okay, tomorrow is great. Bag will be light and not just light, but very light. I'm loving it...Great news! Home econs practical is finally over. I must say: my cup cakes were way too hard and sweet( i added a bit too much sugar), but it was quite yummy, according to me. I did it alone, i get the credit. Cooking will be over, no more cooking. Now, that's something to rejoice about.
BLOG INFO. This blog has been dead for 2 months (and maybe more) and i brought it back to life again. This blog...what to say...skin is so boring, but i can't be bothered to change it. Cbox is no better. Few people are chatting, it's no life...haiz...nvm. Words are also too squeezed up which makes it harder to read. But, it's too many posts to change anything.
RECREATION. TV and COM. TV- it's now the hubstation thing and i've been watching it everyday. COM- no better. Using it everyday too. Know what is it for? You could have gotten it if you know me well enough. But, doubt you do. Yes, i've been using it to type my story. Maybe you should have missed this bit but nvm.
SPORTS. I was into badminton just like a week or 2 ago. But, i've stopped suddenly. I haven't got a proper explanation for that. Blame it on my mood perhaps. I was always not into sports. So, engaging myself into badminton itself is a big deal. But, because of my bad mood, i stopped playing for now. But, rest assured (this phrase is applied to me), i will get into badminton after my mood has slightly improved.
LEISURE. I've been reading a few books at a time. 1, 'How long have you got?' Story has been rather good, but not my type. 2, 'Sing To The Dawn'. The story is just my type, interesting so far, in the midst of reading it for the second time now. It was too fun to stop after reading it once. 3, 'Megs & The Vootball Kids'. It's my brother's book about football. He was not reading, so i thought, might as well i read first to improve my book readin score. REading a few books at a time has always been what i was doing. I just can't stay devoted to one book at any one time. It's my nature. I ain't going to correct it.
Now that i have touched all 5 topics. Guess i could stop here. So, ciao (don't know whether i spelt it correctly). See you around. I hope diving the post into several topics makes it easier for you to navigate through the post about my day and my life.

To Bangkok, Thailand from 17 to 19 May 2008

Hi,
12 days since i last posted (i think) and i suppose the thing is not one day behind now. I went to Bangkok, Thailand from 17 May to 19 May. It was quite fun. We stayed in Somerset Lake Point Hotel. We had this big room with a kitchen, living room (not really a living room) and 2 bedrooms. We also had iron and iron board, washing machine and all the kitchen stuff (you know that)...We went to the Grand Palace, museum, Zoo, Siam paragon, floating market Emporium and others in these 3 days. I went with my bro, mum, aunt and uncle and cousin aunty. My bro, uncle and i returned on 19 May. My mum will stay on until tomorrow which is 22 May. My aunt and cousin aunty will stay on until 28 May, if im not mistaken. Anyway, back to Bangkok. Although it was a tropical place, however, it was raining slightly everyday. On the first night, we went to Siam paragon's Underwater World. It was much better than in Singapore (no offence, staff of the Singapore's Underwater World. But, thats the fact. Accept it.). There, we went on the glass bottom boat. It was a boat that was glass below, so we would admire the fishes by looking down. It was great fun!! Aft that, we returned back to the hotel aft buying some things at the shop there. The next day, we went to the floating market where we would sit on boats and we went to 3 such markets, then to the Grand Palace (which was quite boring), then to the museum (not as boring; at least there was air-con there). Next, we made our way to the zoo. We watched the crocodile show where 3 guys do dangerous stuff with the crocodile. Then, we watched the elephant show, quite boring. BUT, I DO LOVE ELEPHANTS!!! Aft the show, i took a photo with 2 elephants. They were like so cute!! Well, aft that, we went back to the hotel to like take a break. At abt 17 00, 18 00 (Thailand timing), we proceedeed to Carrefour area there to eat at MK restaurant (a steamboat restaurant). Aft eating, my aunt and uncle, bro and cousin aunty went to do massage. My mum and i stayed around there to like shop. Once we were done shopping, we ate ice-cream and then took a cab back. Surprisingly, the taxi meter nvr moved at all. At the start of the journey, it was 35 baht. At the end of the journey, it was 35 baht. My mum paid 40 baht and i suppose the additional 5 baht is tips. We took pics at the indoor pool and went back to the room. She took her bath and we were watching tv. Then, i sneezed while sitting on the bed, so i fell off the bed forwards, my knees to the ground (laugh if you wish to or if you're unable to control your laughter). They all came back from the massage like more than an hour aft. The third day is also the day i was returning back to Singapore. I was happy! I was elated! That day, the 19th, we went to the emporium at 09 45 (Thailand timing). But, they were only open at 10 00. So, we hanged around there for 15 mins. When they opened, we went in and looked around (and shopped around. We don't come to Thailand just to window-shop). Aft shopping, we went to starbucks and i drank the chocolate chip ice-blended thing. It was getting tasteless, so i dint finish it. We made our way to Asok station, which was the station to the hotel. But, we dint go to the hotel. We went to a reastaurant to have our lunch. We had to reach the airport by 14 00 or 15 00, so we had to rush a bit as it was already 13 30 (Thailand timing). We went to the hotel aft our lunch and started to pack. Okay, blablah...we made our way to Survanabhumi Airport (dont know whether the name's right). We touched down at Singapore at 20 20 (obviously Singapore timing). We had dinner and went home. Overall: Bangkok, Thailand was real tired.
Can't talk anything abt today because im too tired to type any longer.

its been some time alreadi..cant remember when i last posted one post..hiaz bad memory..jus chatting wif 1 classmate (boy one) on hp. But i vvery scared coz i use prep8, scared tat my money will run out and u know mother top up, those kinda things. Aiya..wat 2 do? But, i starting 2 think this blog is lame and uncool, you know not nice tat kind. 2dae was another usual dae at school except im alwaes saying i grew a cm taller to 175cm (so exaggerating!!) and ting rui keep asking me 2 stand up coz i say im taller than him which mite b true in the future..he doesnt believe (not my prob)..then first lesson was eng but ms siti nvr come and there was no t-cher in class, i think..so we were making loads of noise which made ms poon (1e1 t-cher) come n scold us..My qn is: "why are all the t-chers scolding us? they jus find it so fun, is it?" Dunno how many times ms poon scold us alreadi, i only know its more than 1 time..hahaha=)) then aft tat was literature, and ms teo was here today..wa laau!! her lesson was like so damn sianz, felt like sleeping--a bit tanx 2 the rainy weather tat made me wanna sleep..so i was like quite quiet bsides talking to caryn, an expert in doing in wrong things. Oh!! Most important thing i 4got! My common test 1 overall results. This is the results:

Was not so disappointing though, but a bit coz only 2 'A1's and 1 'A2'..there are 2 boys who are first in class, Edwin and Xin yu (i think).. i dunno abt Xin yu, but Edwin was brilliant. 5 'A1's, 2 'A2's and only 1 'B4'..wah!! so envious..or is it jealous??
So aft literature was recess..so crowded, aft finding a place, waited 4 a while bcoz the stalls were so crowded..then jus b4 gg bac 2 class, mingjia pull me bac when i was gg 2 leave the canteen..guess 2 see wat? EUGENE SAW HAO ZHE!! His pic was at the notice board, prob some outstanding perfomance or wat la.. to think he was in 1e2 las yr and 2e2 tis year..1e2 is the class i am in this yr (in case u wonder y i bother he was frm 1e2..) Eugene Saw if u dunno, is the boy lin lao shi say wan 2 introduce 2 me..frm then ah, mingjia see him will always like smile at me..not only her, fran, wilson (onli once) and caryn, but they wont smile, they will TALK ABT HIM..ERRRHH!! Aft recess was science, mother tongue and maths..nth interesting in science & mother tongue..maths was doing the classroom cleaning and ms wang dint come..so mr bambang (relief t-cher 4 our class; HOD 4 humanities) was supervising us on the cleaning...at abt 13 30, we stopped and we were talking abt humanities (DUH!! wat would HOD of humanities be talking bsides humanities??) for 10 minutes..when the bell rang, he let us off on time..tats all.

My bro's bdae celebration

Yesterday, my aunt and uncle, cousin aunty, mum, brother (ajit's his name) and i celebrated ajit's 11 birthday, 2 days in advance. First to start off his birthday, we played bowling (i dun realli know how 2 play though=)) After 2 games, we went to eat. We wanted to eat at Marina Square, but the carpark was full, so we went to Central. There were many japanese restaurants there. but, we decided to eat billy bomber's according to the birthday boy's wishes. The food there was quite nice and yummy, but i dint like the atmosphere. It was of those pics which seemed 2 b taken in the 1950 and 1960's and it dint look nice (bcoz it was all colourless). After eating, we went 2 settler's, a game cafe. We went in at 22 00 and played 2 games, pit and citadels for 2hrs. At 12am, the cafe assisstant came 2 us and said our time was up. But, since we had only played 2 games, we decided 2 extend our time to 1hr and played saboteur. The 'game profile' of the 3 games is written below.
'Citadels'--a strategy game to build buildings with as many points, playing a diff. character each round. When one person reaches 8 buildings, the game ends and all the players count all their points. The player with the most points wins. (The points are indicated on the building cards when you build them..)
'Pit'--a shouting game, each player gets 9 of the same cards and mix them wif the other players. Then, every1 takes another 9 cards from the mixed pile. The aim of the game is to get 9 cards of the same by trading card. So, if i want to trade 3 card, i shout 3 and other players who want to trade 3 cards can trade with me. The winner is the player who managed to get all 9 similar cards first. Then, tat player is supposed to put the hand in the middle and shout pit. The other players are supposed to follow suit. Aft tat, the winner beats the players' hands and the players are supposed 2 try not 2 get beaten.
'Saboteur'--a card game with miners and saboteurs. The miners are supposed to build routes 2 the gold and the saboteurs are supposed 2 stop them by putting dead ends, diverting the routes or minimising the number of routes to the gold.
Then, at 01 00, we left to go home. While walking 2 the car, my cousin aunty and uncle were discussing abt citadels and dint meet eye 2 eye. So, my uncle suggested buying the game and finding a place 2 play it. My cousin aunty agreed and we went bac 2 settler's 2 buy citadels. After buying it, we went to kallang mcdonald's and bought 2 large drinks and started playing. The game was pretty long and we played 04 00 or around there. Aft that, we bought mcdonald's breakfast and ate until 04 30 or so and we returned home aft eating. When we reached home, it was already 05 00 and i dint feel so tired so i was listening to songs. I got tired of it aft like 20 mins, so i switched it off and went 2 sleep.
This was how we celebrated my bro's bdae. Hope he enjoyed it!!

2dae, i went 2 skool. Then, the first lesson was PG. So, ms siti (our PG 'cher) was toking about freedom tat we get frm teachers and our parents. While, doing the activity, the question asked 2 list the things we can do wif the freedom we get now, and the things tat our parents control us over. For the things we could do now, i could think of 7 things. Then, for the next qn, i was crackingg my brain and could not think of any. So, i called ms siti. The conversation below depicts wat we said.

me: I can't think of anything taa i can't do...i hav too mucch freedom.
ms: what abt gg overseas wif your frens?
me: my mum would allow me to go. she would jus tell me 2 b safe
ms: gg overseas wif frens, you know? Not your parents..she would allow, ah??
me: yeah..i know she would
(Shocked for a while...)
ms: then wat abt staying out until 2am?
me: mayb not 2am, but 12 or 10...i jus hav 2 call her n tell her im staying out
ms: wah!! you hav so much of freedom??
me: yeah..so since i can't think of any, can i leave it blank?
ms: jus write tat you have 2 come bac by 10, i'm sure tat there's something you cant control...

Now, you know thru the above conversation jus how much of freedom i get and ppl are starting 2 envy me (i lurve the feelingg of being envied) i LOVE it!! But, i understand too much of freedom is not vvery gd and i dun really like too much of freedom (now you know why im weird)..i mean it alwaes is gd 2 hav something watching over you to ensure your discipline and safety. That's all, jus starting to write some notes and listening to songs..bbye!!

This is yuva once again (DUH!!). Todae, im gg to stay home all dae. Nothing to do!! I saw a cute kitten and my cousin named it Tiger. We knew another kitten earlier, called Kiwi. But, todae when Kiwi saw Tiger, it got vvery angry and refused to b frens wif it. They kept staring at each other. But, jus one meow from tiger (which was like 2 times smaller than Kiwi), scared Kiwi away. It was funny n cute seeing how tiger was alwaes rolling and moving bout. It jus wouldn't stay still. Tiger was so small and CUTE!! Aft that, my cuz suggested bringing it back home (bhind some shophouses), 2 b wif its mum n siblings. So, my cuz (thulasi is her name) carried it n i tagged along. When we reached its home, thulasi let it down, it ran to its mum when it saw her. It was gr8 2 know that we reunited their family. Now, jus a meow frm Tiger would send the mum running 2 it (prob afr8 coz Tiger already wwent missing once). What motherly love the cat mums possess. Todae, its jus gg 2 b a boring dae (i think). 2moro, there is skool and im kinda happi coz gg 2 skool is like quite fun. Todae i went 2 air show. God!! It was so damn crowded and (very irritating) coz ppl were like walking here and there and i was fruastrated. There were oso so many prams. I mean if their kiddos needed 2 b put in a pram, why bring them along? It only made it more crowded, irritating, fruastrating, annoying and a more hated place. It was all the way at Pasir Ris, Changi Air Base i think..so, the nite b4, we already planned to wake up at 8, and hav breakfast at 830. But s usual, i woke up @ 825. So bcoz i alwaes eat very slow, i decided to hav 2 slices of bread. After which, we manged 2 leave on time at 9 (at least one thing we did on time!!). So, it was a damndamn long queue. The queue was like making one turn around the building or pasir ris mrt, you know the building. Very fruastrating, ppl pushing around. I got vvery irritated and den oso got ppl cutting queue (if they were to cut other ppl's queue, i wouldn't care. But, my queue that they cut!! Seems like they dont know the consequences) I was like so angry and so were my mum and bro. Then, after like an hr or so, we finally got into the shuttle bus which was SBS. We stayed there for like 4 hrs, i think and we saw many planes at the exhibition aft the air show. We also saw A380. Could take pic with it, but not go in and that also made me so super angry like i swallowed a bowl full of chilli. Aft that, we went to white sands to eat sakae sushi. Wow!! Remarkable to me how much 4 ppl could eat (myself, bro, mum and cousin aunty)!! We finished 29 coloured plates. Great, huh? Anywae, we were like eatin vvery little for 4 hrs. So, it's explainable. Well, aft tat, we went window-shopping and bought very few things. In fact, i dun think i bought anything. So, aft that, we were gg home. We took mrt frm pasir ris to kallang and my cousin aunty was gg 2 jurong east. At kallang, we took bus 985 home and tats all 4 the day. I posted some pics that we took todae. BBYE!! --yuvarani

Jus added some stuff and seemed 2 b realli hooked onto it, cant stop. Because i added the text by the side and bottom and links and changed the name for some of the things. 2dae was another usual dae at skool. Common Test ended yesterdae, so im in a good mood. But, i was unhappy too bcoz i flung my literature test ((i mean common test)). But, my literature teacher makes it realli boring. What to do?? It's not like i have a choice, it's an examinable subject. The class was very very noisy 2dae like any other dae. During music, we were so noisy, our music 'cher got so fed up with us. She was so angry tat she ended the lesson 10 minutes earlier ((9 minutes to be precise, according to my watch))...Then, aft tat was science followed by maths. Our maths teacher dint come 2dae, so we had 35 mins to ourselves. But, ms siti, our form teacher came in to talk to us 4 a while. We were toking abt some bdae celebration thing. Then, we went 2 the hall 4 an assembly prog. It was 2 ppl frm the YMCA who came 2 dance and taught us some dance frm the past like 1920s and 1930s (don wish 2 hurt their feelings but it was pretty boring). Aft that at abt 1310, we were dismissed frm the hall. I reached the bus stop only at abt 1330 (i think). After 10 minutes, i saw my fren, Sarah and we were talking. Then, at like 1345, the bus arrived and we boarded it. Still, we were toking abt things and i gave her my number. She alighted quite early. After a few stops aft she got down, i too got down and made my way home. That's all. BBYE!!
